After the First Stakeholder Board Workshop held last June, the Consortium of the Horizon ForestNavigator project (Navigating European Forests and forest bioeconomy sustainably to EU climate neutrality) will convene once more on September 26th and 27th in Laxenburg, Austria, at the IIASA headquarters. This time, the occasion will be the project's First Annual Meeting, which will bring together all project partners, external stakeholders, and European institutions.
The agenda will span two days and will begin with a presentation of the strategic objectives achieved so far, followed by an update on the Project Portal and Policy modelling Toolbox's progress. Subsequently, discussions will focus on modelling and non-modelling challenges and the upcoming activities that each partner will undertake in the coming months. Active stakeholders’ engagement is also planned.
ENEA will be represented by the Division Models and Technologies for disaster risks reduction of the Department for Sustainability. ENEA will provide a summary of the main results achieved thus far and outline the next steps.
