The DELISOIL project at EIMA International Exhibition, a biennal event promoted by the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, and organized by the Federation’s service company, FederUnacoma Surl, in cooperation with BolognaFiere. On Wednesday 6, Novembre 2024, within the Workshop of the RuralBioUp Project (Empowering EU Rural Regions to scale-Up and adopt small-scale Bio-based solutions) entitled “Better nutrient recycling in circular bioeconomy: Biofertilizers, Active Molecules, and Soil Improvers”, a wide range of experiences that make agricultural production sustainable by enhancing residual organic resources from urban and rural contexts will be shared. In this perspective, experts from the entrepreneurial and research sectors will be involved, and a useful collaboration will be established between European projects with similar objectives. In this contest, the ENEA Division Sustainable Agri-Food Systems, represented by Annamaria Bevivino, will join the workshop. Annamaria Bevivino, WP2 leader of DELISOIL project and invited speaker, will present the work entitled “Microbiome-based innovations and soil improvers for agri- food sustainability and healthy soils". The employment of biobased solutions and soil improvers from circular food production will be presented offering an environmentally friendly alternative to the use of inorganic fertilizers.
